Ginger Bread House Competition OFF!

So let's just say that Ginger Bread House building has really taken a turn for the better! No more graham crackers and gum drops... instead we introduced jolly ranchers, pretzels, oreo's, sprinkle bottle itself, starburst, and many more inventive house building materials. They all held up to the vigorous building process, but sadly we lost one when the inner walls collapsed... no one was injured. Now bask in the beautiful interpretations captured below...

Competitor #1--- Mr. Sean Pagnani!

Competitor #2--- Becca (and kind of Josh) Botti!

Competitors #3--- Lauren and Andrew!

Competitors #4--- Beth and Alex!

Don't mind the horrible flash lightning, instead enjoy the excitement shared between these two star crossed lovas!

Allison & Matt | Married

This was a truly fun wedding to attend. Allison was a beautiful bride and Matt made for a very handsome and huge hearted groom. You could tell throughout the entire day that this couple was made for each other. Everyone there also made for a very entertaining night and by the end, we felt like family... enjoy!

Colorado Springs

Our mom took Laura and I to Colorado Springs, CO for a graduation present. The trip was awesome! The first thing we saw were mountains... which was pretty amazing being that we live in Ohio and the highest mountains we have are called hills! We decided to create a photo journal of all the things we did... and below are just a few pictures of our 4 days in beautiful Colorado Springs!

This is a castle that the Navigators inherited and now use for conferences... and weddings!

This is the Royal Gorge bridge. It is the highest suspension bridge in the world!

Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday all the students line up outside for role before lunch. They proceed to march into the cafeteria by groups, one by one. It was pretty awesome to witness.
This is the inside of the Protestant church you see in the above pictures at the Air Force Academy. It was absolutely beautiful inside and out.

We were able to visit the Broadmore Resort. The dog below sat in that cart staring at the geese in the lake. It didn't even faze him when we got right next to the cart. He was a cute pup.

The Olympic training center is located in Colorado Springs. We all tried to top the jumping statues below... you will notice I beat Laura in the jumping contest. Also note that after Laura saw that I jumped higher, she made us do it again :)

Halloween 2008!

This Friday we threw down a pretty sweet Halloween Party! Sara Palin decided to grace us with her presence, along with the Channel 4 news crew from San Diego, Waldo, and a suspicious black cat. Below are some highlights from the party...

Mrs. Sara Palin herself!

Veronica Corningstone and a very happy Cheeseburger :)

Waldo decided to get out from behind the scenes and let loose... along with the man in suspenders working his chain saw magic on the black cat.

Brick just couldn't seem to get the toaster working... I FOUND WALDO!

I think the man in suspenders couldn't hear Sara saying, "You're such a maverick with that chainsaw."... she also was winking all night for some reason, maybe a twitch?

Brick was trying to give the forecast for a chance of rain... BUT THEN IT STARTED RAINING!

Veronica started interviewing Mr. Cheeeburger, but then something he said touched a nerve and...
She started EATING Mr. Cheeseburger!!!!!

Joy & Michael | Married

This was an absolutely beautiful wedding to be a part of during this couples special day. The wedding and reception were held at the Mohican Resort. It is the dead of fall and the surrounding couldn't have been more breath taking. Not to mention that the couple was cuter than ever and so much in love with eachother. There were so many great pictures throughout the day, here are just a few of my favs :)
